About this tour

Cross the desert from Hurghada to Luxor and spend the day among the greatest monuments of ancient Egypt. On the West Bank you descend into the Valley of the Kings and visit the terraced temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. On the East Bank the monumental Karnak temple complex shows the scale of the ancient city of Thebes.

An Egyptologist guide accompanies the group and explains the history of each site. Lunch and soft drinks are included, and the return journey brings you back to Hurghada in the evening.

Age policy

The excursion is suitable for adults and children. Infants aged 0–2 travel free of charge and children aged 3–10 receive a 50% discount. The early start and long journey are worth considering when travelling with very young children.
